The results may 2017 consumer inflation in Ukraine in comparison with April has accelerated from 0.9% to 1.3%. This is evidenced by official statistics.
In annual terms (compared to may 2016) price growth also accelerated from 12.2% to 13.5%.
For all the past months of 2017, the inflation in Ukraine amounted to 6.2%.
As reported, the international monetary Fund (IMF) forecasts inflation in Ukraine at a level of 10% by the end of 2017. The Ukrainian government expects year-end inflation at 8.1%, and the national Bank of Ukraine (NBU) – at 9.1%.
We will remind, at the end of 2016, the inflation in Ukraine is 12.4%.
