After an hour of discussion, the Verkhovna Rada has adopted the law No. 6327 on the state financial guarantees for providing medical services and medicines. After one failed vote and three attempts to revisit the MPs has supported the government bill 227 votes. BPP gave 117 votes, NF – 64, “Samopomich” – 24, the parliamentary group “Will of the people” – 8, independent – 12. The faction of the Radical party, “Batkivshchyna” and “Opposition bloc” did not support the bill No. 6327.
In many ways, according to MPs, the document failed to be adopted due to the inclusion of amendments, the MP from NF Lyudmila Denisova, Deputy of group “the Renaissance” Andrey Shipko. Although, according to the head of the faction of the NF Maxim Burbak, before the second reading of the bill will be significantly improved.
“A lot of rumors and fakes, but there are certain comments from members, so I think that between the first and the second reading will be serious changes, we will modify this bill and will be more professional debate without slogans. The amendments Lyudmila Denisova concern revision of articles 7 and 12 of the draft, which stipulates the obligation of patients to pay for their own expense part of the cost of medical services. Denisov also proposes to delete article 8 and 9 of the draft, which is determined by the Central Executive authority that implements state policy in the field of health and acquires a special status and added that the government ensures the creation and functioning of system of obligatory medical insurance.
Amendment of Andrey Shipko guarantee the payment of the secondary and tertiary health care to children up to 14 years, for care during pregnancy and childbirth.
