Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy offers to consider on Thursday, June 8, the first question bill No. 6470 “On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine (regarding the foreign policy of Ukraine)”. He stated this at the plenary meeting on Wednesday, UKRINFORM reported.
“I would like to suggest that tomorrow, we the first question considered changes in the law of domestic and foreign policy, … which clearly defines the direction of Ukraine into NATO. Tomorrow we will be able to settle the law,” – said the speaker.
The proposed legislative initiative aimed at introducing necessary changes in the laws of Ukraine “About fundamentals of domestic and foreign policy” and “About bases of national security of Ukraine” for the resumption of the targeted pragmatic course of Ukraine to membership in NATO as a strategic foreign policy priority of the state.
As you know, earlier Parubiy proposed to fix by law the priority of Ukraine’s accession to NATO.
