The number of crossings of citizens admingranitsy between mainland Ukraine and occupied Crimea decreased by 25-30% compared to the previous year. About it the assistant to the head of the state border service of Ukraine, a spokesman Oleg Slobodyan said on the air “112 Ukraine”, reports UKRINFORM.
“If you compare the number of citizens and vehicles, which are now coming to the occupied Peninsula, last year, we are seeing a decrease somewhere in the range of 25-30%”, – said Slobodyan.
At the same time, he noted that, as usual, on the weekend there is a revival wanting to cross that boundary.
“For example, yesterday it was about 6 thousand people, for the last day we see about 7 thousand people, that is, before the weekend the number increases,” said assistant to the Chairman of the state border service.
