Ukrainians from June 1 will be able to travel to Turkey ID-cards

From June 1 comes into force the agreement on mutual trips of citizens of Ukraine and the Turkish Republic on internal passports (ID-cards). This was announced by Ukraine’s Ambassador to Turkey Andrey Sibiga in his microblog on Twitter.

“The agreement on mutual trips of citizens of Ukraine and Turkey in the ID-cards with 1.06.2017 takes effect. Tomorrow we meet the first tourists from Ukraine and mutually,” wrote Sibiga Wednesday, may 31.

We will remind, Ukraine and Turkey in March signed an agreement on amendments to the Agreement on conditions of mutual trips of citizens, which will enable citizens to travel on ID cards without passports.
