Lawyer trump refused to testify before Congress on relations with Russia

One of the personal lawyers of U.S. President Donald trump Michael Cohen has been invited to Congress to testify regarding the investigation of Russian interference in presidential elections in the United States. However, Cohen rejected the invitation, explaining that “it was poorly articulated, too broad, and on it he can’t give the answer,” reports the TV channel “112 Ukraine”.

Michael Cohen told CNN that this reminded him of the “big fishing.” The lawyer added that “there is still no convincing evidence that would confirm the involvement of Russia”.

Cohen is the second person Donald trump, who refused to appear in Congress. Earlier, former adviser to the President for national security Michael Flynn last week denied the request through his lawyer. He was asked to provide information about the relations with Russia during his stay in office.
