With the launch of a visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU on Polish-Ukrainian border will increase the number of refusal of entry because of a visa-free regime will try to take advantage of the face, which previously could be refused entry at the stage of obtaining a visa.

“As a result of the introduction of a visa-free regime the burden of verifying the purpose of entry will lie solely on the shoulders of the guards who will perform tasks in the process of border checks. And the verification of the purpose of entry on the territory of Poland is one of the most important elements of border control from the point of view of security of the country. We assume that as a result of the abolition of the visa regime on the border will be more tourists who in the present circumstances would not receive a visa, therefore, will increase the number of refusals of entry into the territory of Poland”, – informed the Polish border guards.
As reported, the visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU will work with June 11.
Last year, Polish border guards did not let in the country 22 thousand 864 citizen of Ukraine.
