Ukrainian customs officers found and covered up with a new scheme of importation of cars with Lithuanian registration. As it turned out, a group of citizens rented in Lithuania the car, and drove to Ukraine with the purpose of resale.
As reported by Autonews, the party of those cars were detained in the Transcarpathian region.
But cars were seized and forged documents for the importation of cars into the territory of Ukraine without payment of the established customs duties and other taxes.
When checking it turned out that the firm passed the cars, and did not provide any documents and permissions to travel abroad. So the machine was sent back to the EU.
Recall that in January — April 2017 the Transcarpathian customs office of the SFS at a reduced rate of excise duty has been cleared by 725 vehicles imported into the customs territory of Ukraine. The budget received UAH 63.6 million payments.
Most of these cars were imported from Germany and 302 of the Czech Republic — 116 cars. Basically it is a “Skoda” and “Volkswagen” 2012 — 2014 year of manufacture.
