Internet provider “Volya” has started to block Russian Internet resources, which fell under the sanctions according to the decree of the President of Ukraine.
“According to the decree of the President of Ukraine all Telecom service providers must block access to a number of Russian resources. From 22 may we began measures to restrict access to the web sites listed in the decree. The technical work will be completed before June 1”, – is spoken in the company message.

Also the provider made recommendations to its subscribers on the Russian social networks “Vkontakte” and “Classmates”.
“Please promptly change the contact email address. Please save important information from social networks “Vkontakte” and “Classmates” in other media”, – said in the appeal to customers of the company.
We will remind, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko enacted the decision of the Council of national security and defense, which involves a ban on Russian Internet sites and services, including “Mail.ru” (www.mail.ru), social networks “Vkontakte” (www.vk.com) and “Classmates” (www.ok.ru), as well as a number of the services portal of the Russian yandex.ru and other Russian resources.
In turn, the interior Ministry of Ukraine expressed his understanding that in a short time to implement the decision of Council of national security and defense of Ukraine of blocking Russian sites is not possible, however, expect that the providers will to work hard.
