Providers are not ready technically to the implementation of the decree of the President of Ukraine of blocking Russian Internet resources, which fell under the sanctions. This was stated in comments “Ukrainski news” the head of the Internet Association of Ukraine Alexander Fedenko.
According to him, “lock information provider is impossible”, as Ukrainian providers are simply unable to realise that.
He also noted that even if it does happen, it still will not work 100% to block all of the Russian sanctions resources.
Fedienko stressed that in Ukraine there are no locking mechanisms of the information as such. Moreover, he believes such a mechanism is ineffective, since such restrictive measures will easily be able to circumvent cybercriminals.
In turn, the co-owner of Internet service provider “Triolan” Vladimir Sidorenko commented on the decree of the President of Petro Poroshenko on the introduction of sanctions against Russian companies and their subsidiaries. According to him, now his company is still considering how it is possible to realize the idea of the Ukrainian authorities.
As it became known today, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko enacted the decision of the Council of national security and defense dated 28 April “About the use of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions)”.
