The White house made a statement after talks with trump Klimkin

The President of the United States of America Donald trump wants to cooperate with the Ukrainian authorities in the settlement of the conflict in the Donbas peacefully. This is stated in the statement on the White house website following the meeting, the Vice-President of the USA Mike Pence and President Donald trump with the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin.

“The Vice President stressed the unwavering support of the United States of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. He stressed that the Minsk agreements remain the most viable way to peace. After this meeting the President talked with the foreign Minister and reiterated the United States support for Ukraine and its desire to cooperate with our Ukrainian partners on the peaceful settlement of the conflict”, – said in the White house.

As reported, on may 9-10 Klimkin visited in Washington.

Trump took the White house Klimkin. Before this took place the meeting of head of the Ukrainian foreign Ministry with Vice-President of the United States by Michael Penny.
According to the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA, the parties discussed the development of the situation in the Donbas. Klimkin thanked for the consistent position of the US Administration in supporting the territorial integrity of Ukraine and oppose Russian aggression.

Also yesterday in the US on a visit arrived the Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov. In the US State Department following the meeting of U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson with Lavrov, the press Secretary of the Department of state Heather Nauert said that sanctions against Russia remain in force.

In turn, the White house statement following the meeting of the President of trump Lavrov said that Russia is responsible for full implementation of the Minsk agreements.
