Armed with a knife man attacked passers-by in the Chinese city of Changchun (Jilin province), injured 18 people, writes in Wednesday newspaper the South China Morning Post.
It is reported that among the injured, one tourist from Hong Kong.
The assailant was 50-year-old man, according to police, was arrested and is in custody. None of the victims have not received serious injuries.
The case is under investigation. It is reported that the man could be mentally ill.
