Ukraine may 9 marks the 72nd anniversary of the Victory over Nazism in the Second world war. In the cities this day will be held meeting-Requiem, marches and concerts. The website “Today” has learned, as the country celebrates Victory Day.

Large-scale to celebrate in Ukraine the Victory Day this year will not. The country held rallies of memory, in some cities, the parades and small concerts.
Kiev. May 9, officials will lay flowers at the tomb of the Unknown soldier in Park of Glory. At the National Museum of history of Ukraine during the Second world will give a concert of Kyiv academic brass band. Victory Day coincided with the first semi-final of the Eurovision song contest, so the order in the capital will be protected 2,2 thousand military police officers of the national guard.

In Kherson the victory Day will be celebrated by a parade and a concert. In the Park of Glory, the city Council organizes a field kitchen and a concert program with fire show.
In Zaporozhye will be a similar program, but without the parade. In Victory Park, the local authority organizes a field kitchen with a concert. And Zaporozhye, the Council of veterans ATO has announced the commemoration of Shevchenko Boulevard.
Kharkiv will celebrate the may 9 race at the distance of 20, 10, five and three kilometers. In Gorky Park will host the festival “let’s Bow to the years”, the evening in the square theatre of Opera and ballet will start at 16.00 parade of bands, and in the square of “Arrow” will feature the orchestra of the National Academy of national guard of Ukraine. The Ecopark will install information boards about the animals-the heroes who became legends of the war years. At the main site will run the campaign “Leaf memory”, where visitors will be able to write about the exploits of their relatives in world war II. March “Immortal regiment” and provocations are possible
The head of the Center Voyenno-political researches Dmitry Tymchuk believes that aggravated the situation might be in Kherson and Mykolaiv regions. He does not exclude that provocations can be in the Kharkiv and Odessa regions, but there is serious work Ukrainian special services. Provocateurs are likely to be in areas where you least expect them.

Monitoring in Nikolaev showed that the last two weeks have seen intensification of Russian forces, especially the so-called Cossacks who came from Russia”, – said Tymchuk.

“This is actually a clone of the Russian action “Immortal regiment”. It nominally aims to honor the memory. But we understand that there will be attempts of provocation with the use of banned symbols. The worst thing is that possible disturbances to the soil. The organization of the “Immortal regiment” announced marches on Victory Day with the same title in 15 cities. Processions with portraits of the victims of the Second world war will be held in Kherson, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhia, Mariupol, Sumy, Cherkasy, Ishmael, Kremenchug, Krivoy Rog, Poltava, Kropiwnicki, Odessa and Kiev.
