Scientists have figured out how to keep a clear mind in old age

Scientists from the University of Canberra (Australia) called the way to keep a clear mind in old age.

To save people over the age of 50 cognitive abilities (e.g. attention and memory) are sufficient, according to the authors, the weekly physical education lessons with a total duration of about 45 minutes.

This period of time, according to experts, should be engaged in moderate aerobic and strength training. Exercise scientists suggest once or twice a week.

To such conclusions experts have come, having conducted a meta-analysis of 10 studies on the relationship of cognitive abilities and physical activity.

Experts say that the biggest positive effect from exercise is achieved in case of combination with a healthy diet and quitting Smoking and alcohol consumption.
