The anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office could not yet appeal the decision according to Martynenko, Holodnitsky

Specialized anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office (SAP) has not yet received full text of the court decision on measure of restraint ex-to the Deputy Nikolay Martynenko in order to appeal. About this stated the head of the SAP Nazar Golodnitsky, transfers “112 Ukraine”.

“Not transmitted (review, – Ed.) since we have not yet received the full text of the decision of the court of first instance. Thus, the Prosecutor is now deprived of the right to appeal, as in fact does not know what to appeal. When you have a full text of the decision, we learn it. But the exact position of the prosecution – we will appeal this decision because we believe it is very illegal. We have a legitimate five days… so waiting for a court decision, and the appeal will be filed within the terms established by the code of criminal procedure,” said Holodnitsky.

Note, the Solomensky district court of Kiev on April 22 was released on bail of the former people’s Deputy Nikolay Martynenko.

We will remind that on April 20 detectives of the National anti-corruption Bureau has arrested former people’s Deputy Nikolay Martynenko. NABU said the ex-MP is detained within investigation of criminal proceedings on the fact of theft of the SE “Eastern mining and processing plant”.

SAP asked the court to arrest Martynenko 60 days with a right of bail of 300 million UAH. The former MP said that the charges against him are fabricated, and the case is political and not supported by any evidence.
