Talk about cheap Ukrainian gas is a myth, not the reality, as gas production in Ukraine has fallen seriously. This was stated by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko, reports the press service of the government.
“Due to the fact that artificially held back the price of Ukrainian gas, production of domestic gas has fallen dramatically – at least 4 times,” – said Deputy Prime Minister.
Thus, according to Rozenko, today is built the right model calculations for the consumed gas when rich people pay full price, and the poor helps the state.
“We went back to the correct solver for gas. Now absolutely built the correct model, when the rich people who have a four-storey palaces, paying full price for gas, and to poor people helps the state,” he said.
“Before, everything was supposedly paid a small price for gas. But actually the full price all pay extra state: the rich and the poor. The question is whether social justice is when the people through the taxes paid for gas the owners of the Palace?” – said Rozenko.
