“Of course, statistics on the average nominal and real wages takes into account only “white” incomes. And taking into account the wages “in envelopes” income of Ukrainians is higher than the official statistics. However, the “gray” income is distributed among workers is very uneven, therefore, to assess the income from them is almost impossible,” explains the analyst.

What happened in 2017 and what else will change
Raising the minimum wage has not touched those whose official income is above 3200 hryvnia. “In General, a negative factor for them may be only possible inflationary pressures. It may be noted that this step is highly controversial in the current economic environment”,” – commented on the increase of the minimal salary expert Anton Kozyura.
A large number of employers noted that in the first quarter of 2017 were forced to reduce staff, however, were affected by the “cleansing”, according to the companies, only “ineffective training”. As noted by the HR portal hh.ua in average in Ukraine in the beginning of the year one vacancy claimed by three people.

Traditionally hard to find a job Ukrainians without work experience. “The high levels of competition observed in Kyiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia and Chernihiv regions. This year the prospect of development have the hospitality, especially in the capital, Odessa and Lviv, I’m sure an hr expert rabota.ua Tatyana Pashkina. Also among the most promising professions of cooks and waiters.
“IT will grow, but not so fast, especially if there are ongoing searches in the companies. If there are preferences, then the speed of the development of vacancies in the IT sector to grow. Very much like (although it is likely it will not) that our large companies that due to unfavorable conjectures were forced to cut staff, was able to shift to other markets” – says Tatyana Pashkina.

Salaries in the private sector on average for the year could increase by 10-30%. “As for business, he adds wages in the corridor from 10% to 30% for miscellaneous employees per year. But that is the average temperature in the hospital. In fact, with a good “weather”, 30% – the maximum for which wages go up. If the company in 2016, worked well, and they have ambitious plans for 2017, the salary can grow maximally. If there are any limiting factors – 10-20% is as much as can be added to the salary”, – says HR expert rabota.ua.
The last time, Ukrainian companies do not tend to put high official salaries, they do so, the employee worked on results. Very often the salary is formed on the principle of “save himself”. There will be a nominal part of salary and the rest bonuses, interest, premiums, which allow to increase the salary.
