Test train to Iran to run impossible – Balcon

Ukrzaliznytsia (UZ) will not be able to run the test freight train in Iran as Iranian territory is missing the required 160 km of the railway track. This reports the press service of the UZ.

“The stumbling block was the lack of a 160 km railway track on the territory of Iran. To finish the network, it will take years, experts say,” said the company.

We will remind, earlier the Minister of infrastructure Volodymyr Omelian announced the launch of a test train in Iran. According to the Minister, the train was supposed to go on a voyage this summer to pass through the territory of Georgia and Azerbaijan.
