Czech auto giant Skoda Auto sees Ukraine as one of the platforms to create new capacity. Plans to launch new plant, the Chairman of the Board of Skoda Auto, Bernhard Mayer discussed with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman. About it reports a press-service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
“We are ready to become a reliable support for such a project. I understand that the company has a global choice of where to locate production, but if you choose Ukraine, it will be the right choice. I’m ready “turnkey” to accompany all measures necessary to make you feel all the conditions to start production,” – said the head of Ukrainian government.
Groisman assured that it is really a full assistance in the development of production, implementation of certain preferences in the sphere of local taxes in the choice of forms of organization of production and even training.
For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Skoda Auto said that highly respects the interest of the state authorities in the implementation of the production project.
“I am very grateful for the support. I think that in the next three months we will discuss all the details and alternatives with the goal of developing a positive business case and making the right decision,” said Bernhard Maier.
We will remind that since March 9, in the Transcarpathian region of Ukraine at the plant “Eurocar” started to collect new crossover Skoda Kodiaq, which is recognized as the best car of the year.
