Groysman: no Grounds to speak about increase of tariffs for gas is not

Vladimir Groisman said that in his opinion, no grounds to speak about increase of tariffs for gas there. This was announced by Prime-Minister of Ukraine, reports TV channel “112 Ukraine”.

On the question of whether to increase the tariffs for gas, Vladimir Groisman said

“I think now no reason to talk about the price increase for tariff no. Moreover, I emphasize that our task today is to get rid of energy dependence and I believe this can be attributed to the positive results of our activities. We stopped the fall in Ukrainian gas extraction and resumed production growth. In fact, we have this year to produce more than 500 million cubic meters, than it was last year.”

On the appointment of tariffs for gas Volodymyr Groysman said:

“We found only marginal price of gas. Everything else says it is the national Commission. We must pay tribute to the calculations of the national Commission on tariffs bring Teplokommunenergo. And they belong to urban communities. We need to be serious enough dynamic program of modernization of housing and communal sector, and including municipal power system. No one today can deny that the need to install individual heating units in the cities to do the modernization of heat production, improve the transportation of heat.”

“If we talk about local authorities, where there is a normal mayor, today we can say that there are normal costing system and a normal structure of tariff and they are working including alternative sources”, – said the Prime Minister.

We will remind, the national Commission for regulating energy and utilities (NKREKP), March 28 in Ukraine has introduced a monthly fee for gas for the population and industrial users from April 1.

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko required to stop the decision to impose subscription fee on gas.
