Poroshenko met with Romanian President: what he was talking about

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during a visit to Malta, has met with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis, informs a press-service of the head of state.

Poroshenko thanked his counterpart for his commitment to the preservation of sanctions against Russia, and for important help in the rehabilitation of wounded Ukrainian servicemen and the organisation of improvement of children of Ukrainian families affected in the war against Russian aggression.

The presidents agreed on the need for the revitalization of the Ukrainian-Romanian joint Commission on economic, industrial, scientific and technical cooperation.

The heads of state discussed the issues of further bilateral cooperation in the gas transport sector to enhance energy security by expanding opportunities for natural gas transportation between the two countries, including the reverse supply chain.

The two sides also discussed the situation in Moldova.

Also today, the President met with Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban and President of the European Council Donald Tusk.
