Poroshenko told the date of receipt by Ukraine 600 million euros from the EU

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that the macro-financial assistance to Ukraine from the EU will come next week. He said this in Malta, which is on a working visit, transfers “Interfax-Ukraine”.

He noted that about it it became known after contact with European officials.

“The results of the meeting with Jean-Claude Juncker (European Commission President. – Ed.) and the commissioners I am pleased to inform you the news that next week from 3 to 7 April on account of Ukraine should finally do a tranche of 600 million Euro macro-financial assistance”, – said Poroshenko.

In addition, according to him, on Monday, April 3, there will be a meeting of the Board of the International monetary Fund (IMF), during which a decision on granting Ukraine a tranche of $ 1 billion.

“This will greatly enhance the country’s foreign reserves and fiscal stability of the state”, – said Poroshenko.

We will remind, on March 16 the European Commission approved the allocation of 600 million Euro macro-financial assistance to Ukraine.

The head of the EU delegation to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli noted that to obtain this loan to Ukraine it is necessary only to register the draft law on the moratorium on the export of unprocessed wood.
