Groisman responded harshly Sobolev blockade: My task is to replace the decline of economic growth, but you, I care not wait

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during the “hour of questions to the government” in the Verkhovna Rada responded harshly to the people’s Deputy Yegor Sobolev on the question of the blockade of Donbass.

“You said about Ukraine’s dependence on the occupier. I’m not going to say that we have unprecedented challenges in relation to our independence. But the fact that your actions personally increased this dependence is the fact. I was stressed and I want to stress again: what you personally did for blockade of Ukraine, contrary to the national interests – both economic and energy. Unfortunately, we expected that the aggressive actions by Russia in the Donbas will lead to a complete blockade and lack of access of Ukraine to his own Ukrainian mineral resources. In the end, they did, but only with your hands,” he said.

He stressed that to restore order in the energy sector the government is working on a complete replacement of anthracite coal each year and reduces the dependency on the coal, modernizing the Ukrainian energy and transfers it to the coal of the City

According to Groisman, the Cabinet is making every effort to increase production of nuclear power creates mechanisms to reduce consumption.

As recalled by the head of government, Ukraine for more than 500 days of lives without a drop of Russian gas and increases the production of Ukrainian gas, owned by Ukrainians, and this year increased its production by approximately 0.5 billion cubic meters, which is unprecedented.

“We do all the work. I’d love to do faster. Faster is possible when there is economic growth. Faster can be done when the economy produces growth in budget revenues. Then we would have to raise salaries, pensions and so on. But when you own action today to force the country to abandon the 1% of GDP, this means that hundreds of billions will come into the economy of our country, and hundreds of billions will not be paid a dime in taxes. I think your actions are irresponsible. Unfortunately, you hit the pain point for our economy. Now my task and the task of the government is to compensate for this economic decline and to replace it with economic growth. On this I concentrated. Help from you do not expect” – summed up Groisman.

As you know, a few months ago
