Austria will pay a thousand euros to the refugees for the return home.
This was stated by the interior Minister of Austria, Wolfgang Sobotka, said the Austrian publication Krone, reports espresso TV.
According to him, the first thousand refugees who agree to leave Austria voluntarily, will receive 1,000 euros. Now for the voluntary return home is possible to receive 500 euros.
In addition, Austria is organizing the return of refugees to Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq and Iran.
As noted by Sobotka, by 2019, it is expected that Austria would leave 50 thousand of refugees with no prospects to stay in the country. A significant portion needs to leave Austria voluntarily.
Last year Austria left 10 thousand refugees, of which 5.8 thousand people left voluntarily.
