The security service of Ukraine has prepared a decision to ban the entry of illegally visited the occupied Russian Crimea, the Russian singer Yulia Samoilova selected to participate in the Eurovision song contest-2017, which will be held in may in Kiev.
“At this moment, the decision to ban entry is still pending, but open secret – the corresponding document is already prepared,” – said the head of the SBU Basil Gritsak.
Hrytsak said: “I want to emphasize that my position as head of the secret service – the law should be the same for everyone. She not just visited the Crimea, she left footprints in social networks, where she spoke about the Ukraine, its government, its course of Euro-Atlantic integration. My position is clear: I believe that it should not come to Ukraine”.
As reported, Russia on Eurovision song contest in 2017 will represent Samoylova with the song “the Flame is Burning”. From childhood, she is wheelchair-bound and has a first group of disability.
The security service of Ukraine reported that checks the accuracy of the information on possible visits Samoilova in the Crimea, and after that take a decision about its admission to the Ukrainian territory.

Earlier, the head of the SBU expressed the belief that sending a singing contest Samoilov, the Russian authorities decided to test the reaction of the Ukrainian side and assured that “the reaction of the SBU is sure to be”, but wish was the reaction of not only the security services: “We would also like to hear the conclusions on this issue, the organizers of the Eurovision song contest, the Ministry of culture, other relevant agencies.”
The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin did not rule out that the appointment of the singer as a contestant from Russia is a provocation of the Russian side.
