President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko believes that presenting the evidence at the Hague Tribunal on Russian crimes, the truth will be stronger weapons. About this he wrote in Facebook.
“Historic moment: on March 6, Ukraine will present evidence of the crimes of Russia in the International court of justice in the Hague”, – wrote the President.
The head of state also added that “truth is stronger than weapons.”
We will remind, hearings will be held from 6 to 9 March and will begin hearing of the Ukrainian side. On Tuesday, the word will be given to the Russian side, Wednesday is reserved for Ukraine, and Thursday for Russia.
As reported, on 16 January, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine filed a suit regarding the violation by Russia of the UN Convention on combating financing of terrorism and the Convention on the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination international court of justice in the Hague.
In turn, the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin explained what Kiev accuses Russia. So, Ukraine in its lawsuit in the International court accuses Russia of acts of terrorism, and requires it immediately to regain control of the captured territories.
