In January 2017 the food industry of Ukraine sold products to 31 billion excluding excise duty and VAT. About it reports a press-service of the Ministry of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine, citing the state statistics service.
According to the Ministry, this amount is 24.7% more than in January 2016. Overall, the share of food processing industry in the country was 18%.
At the same time, nearly 28% (equivalent to 8.68 billion UAH) of all products of the food processing industry was sold outside Ukraine.
As previously reported, the implementation of food production in 2016 increased by 13% and amounted to 381 billion.
