Unique canadian pianist of Ukrainian descent, will open the school in Zhytomyr

The world-known canadian pianist of Ukrainian descent, Lubomyr Melnyk, known for his talent to play the greatest number of notes per second, is planning to establish a modern educational centre in Zhytomyr – reports “New time”.

“He wants to transfer his talent to those who are talking to him in the same language. And not only the state, but the one that carries the spirit of the people, the heritage of their ancestors. According to him, the only Ukrainian could create such a style,” said Cultprostir Wladyslaw Malinowski, who organized the concert Lubomyr Melnyk in Ukraine in the fall of 2016.

The Miller school will be located in the boiler room of the old Zhitomir.

Now on the Indiegogo platform launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise money to transform the space in an innovative artistic centre with good soundproofing.

Become a student of the school Lubomyr Melnyk will be available to everyone regardless of age. Also, the center will conduct lessons on fine arts.

We will remind, in the fall of 2016 Lubomyr Melnyk played two shows at the home of his parents in Ukraine.
