Johnson checked the participants of the Munich conference on knowledge of the NATO Charter

The UK will maintain relations with our European partners, in spite of Brexit. This was stated by the British foreign Secretary Boris Johnson at the Munich security conference, broadcast journalists Today.

He asked the participants, as described in the second article of the NATO Charter, but no one was able to answer.

Then, Johnson recalled: “the Contracting parties shall promote further development of international relations of peace and friendship by strengthening their free institutions, reach a better understanding of the principles on which they are held, and promote the creation of conditions of stability and well-being. The Contracting parties will seek to eliminate conflict in their international economic policies and will encourage economic collaboration between any of them and with each other in General.

“Who needs the EU, if there are NATO”, – joked the Minister.
