Moscow is already cooperating with the administration of the trump and the interaction becomes more intense over time – in particular, there will be a discussion of the situation in the East of Ukraine.
This was stated by Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov in interview to TV channel “NTV”.
“We respect the positions of any country and are always ready to sit down and discuss any approaches, even those that are absolutely contrary to ours. I am convinced that our dialogue with the administration of Donald trump, who has already begun, will continue, will be more intense, once all parts of the administration who are engaged in foreign Affairs”, – said Lavrov.
According to him, already agreed the time and place of his contact with the new head of the state Department’s Rex Tillerson.
“Already had contacts through other channels, phone calls on issues related to our interaction in military-political sphere”, – said the Minister.
He is confident that in the near future will be able to discuss with Tillerson Ukrainian question “In the near future I’m sure will be a contact with the new Secretary of state USA Rex Tillerson, and of course, we will discuss these (the situation in the East of Ukraine, the implementation of the Minsk agreements) and other major issues on the international agenda as well as the issues of our bilateral relations. Hope is not very strong stirrings of understanding of what is actually happening in the East of Ukraine will be strengthened.”
