The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that the Ukrainian army can defend the country against any aggressor, even Russia. He stated this during his visit to Kolomyia (Ivano-Frankivsk region).
He noted that to resist the aggression became possible thanks to the morale and unity of the Ukrainians.
“Everything will be done to ensure that you have demonstrated, when the community, together, Ukraine, the United, it is able to protect itself from any aggressor, even Russia, which has the largest and most powerful army on the continent, secretes ten times more in the military budget and allocated all times of its existence. Our morale we stopped them, liberated two-thirds of Donbass, provided the restoration of infrastructure and the most powerful of the reforms,” said Poroshenko.
According to him, international partners noted the positive dynamics of changes in Ukraine over the past 2.5 years.
Earlier, Poroshenko said that Ukraine does not need foreign weapon itself is able to ensure its independence, and from the West waiting for support in forcing Russia to implement the Minsk agreements.
