Kosovo has no right to form their own armed forces. This was stated by foreign Minister of Serbia Ivica Dacic, according to the newspaper Nezavisne Novine.

“They have no right to form its armed forces, in accordance with resolution 1244. Such a decision would be illegal. The only armed forces that may exist on the territory of Kosovo is a UN force,” said Dacic.

According to him, the formation of the army of Kosovo will become an additional factor of instability.

“We will use all political levers in order to avoid this”, – said the foreign Minister of Serbia.
