In the case of embezzlement of funds of the company “Kirovles” the Leninsky court of Kirov decided to give the opposition politician Alexei Navalny to five years probation, according to RIA Novosti.
It is reported that Navalny and another defendant Peter Ofitserova, in addition to the suspended sentence, has awarded 500 thousand rubles fine. The court found that they organized the embezzlement of 16 million rubles.
Kirov court re-examined the “case of Kirovec”, as the Supreme court on the basis of the decision of the ECHR overturned the conviction in 2013.
Recall that in 2013, Alexei Navalny and former head of the Vyatka forest company Peter Ofitserov was already sentenced to five and four years probation for embezzlement of property of “Kirovles”.

Protection Navalny said that the verdict will be appealed.
“This sentence we do not recognize, and it will be cancelled. In accordance with the Constitution, I can participate in the elections,” – said Navalny reporters.
Earlier it was reported that Navalny has announced readiness to run for President of Russia. Secretary of the CEC, Maya Grishina, commenting on his plans, said that the possibility of nominating Navalny will depend on the outcome of the review of his case in court and from the documents that he will present, if it decides to run.
As you know, in December 2014, the court sentenced Oleg Navalny to three years and six months in prison, Alexei Navalny received three years and six months probation on charges of embezzling Yves Rocher funds.
