The budget has not lost anything from the mass closure of PE in Ukraine – Reva

Mass termination of activity of physical persons-entrepreneurs (FLP) did not have a negative impact on the budget of Ukraine. This was stated by Minister of social policy Andrei Reva broadcast “Radio Freedom”.

“Actually closes those individuals-entrepreneurs who do not have any operations and did not pay taxes. Them from January 1, offered on a monthly basis to not pay tax and single social payment that they were pensionable service. 129 thousand FLP refused to do so and shut down business activities. While the budget has not lost anything. And nothing is lost these people, because they themselves did not earn, therefore, paid nothing,” said Reva.

According to him, from those of FOP, which were active in entrepreneurial activities, closed down approximately 16.4 thousand for the same time opened 28 thousand natural persons-entrepreneurs.

“What is the result? Only single tax in the budget received almost a billion hryvnyas additionally, in comparison with the previous period. Compared to January 2016, a 38% increase in the revenues of the state budget, and 20% increase in the income of the pension Fund of Ukraine”, – said Reva.

Recall that the mass closure of PE in Ukraine due to changes in legislation. From 1 January 2017 all physical persons-entrepreneurs are obliged to regularly pay a single social contribution in the amount of 704 USD per month, even if you do not get profit.
