Media have calculated how much Russia has cost the March “Admiral Kuznetsov”

Russia has spent on the Syrian campaign of the aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov and escort ships from 7.5 billion to 10 billion rubles. it is reported by RBC.

According to the report, the most expensive budget of the Russian Federation has managed two of the crashed carrier-based fighter.

In the price included the following costs:

  • to food (306,4 million to 325,5 million rbl.);
  • for fuel (from 1.1 billion to RUB 1.5 billion);
  • on combat missions (1.47 billion rubles);
  • the cost of lost combat machines (from 4.5 billion to 6.7 billion rubles);
  • “combat” bonuses (38,3 million rbl.).

The real cost of the campaign may be longer, as data on the use of the submarine fleet and armament of the ships in operation was not published by the war Department.

Camping ship group of the Northern fleet went October 15. It included the Admiral Kuznetsov, the heavy nuclear missile cruiser Pyotr Veliky, large antisubmarine ships (BPK) “Severomorsk” and “Vice-Admiral Kulakov” and support vessels — tankers, tugs, etc.
