In January 2017, the inflation in Ukraine amounted to 1.1%. Thus, the growth of consumer prices compared to December 2016, was accelerated by 0.2 percentage points, according to the state statistics service.
In annual terms – by January 2016 inflation accelerated from 12.4% to 12.6%.
In particular, the products in January rose 1.9%, alcohol and tobacco – 1.2% (0.7% and 2.1% respectively). Prices for clothes and shoes at the same time fell by 4.3%.
