Groisman going to discuss in Brussels the progress of reforms in Ukraine

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman intends to pay a working visit to Brussels on 9-10 February. This was stated by the head of bilateral relations with the countries of the Eastern partnership of the European external action service Dirk Schuebel.

During the meeting of the Committee on security and defence European Parliament on Monday, he said that morning, the head of European diplomacy Federica Mogherini discussed the situation in Ukraine with foreign Ministers of the EU countries in the framework of the Council of Ministers of foreign Affairs.

Schuebel noted that initially the discussion was planned to focus on carrying out reforms in Ukraine, where Kiev has demonstrated good progress. In addition, European diplomats discussed developments in the Donbas.

Nacodel of bilateral relations with the countries of the Eastern partnership, said that “in the second half of the week the Prime Minister Groysman will be in town (Brussels – Ed.) February 9-10, and then we’ll continue our discussion,” he said.

Schuebel noted that the issue of Ukraine is one of priorities of foreign policy of the EU.
