The President of the United States Donald trump during a brief conversation with the head of the faction “Batkivshchyna” expressed full support for democratic, free and European Ukraine. The head of the faction “Batkivshchyna” Yulia Tymoshenko said in the Verkhovna Rada after a meeting of the conciliation Council.
“There’s good news, I want it to say. You know I had a short meeting with the new President of the United States Donald trump. And I heard full support for Ukraine, a democratic Ukraine, free Ukraine, Ukraine, European. And I am convinced that such support of the United States, including our great friend towards Ukraine will continue and will even grow stronger. During our short conversation was that Russia did not take off the sanctions and on the contrary to strengthen sanctions, to protect Ukraine in all possible ways”, – said the leader of the faction “Batkivshchyna”.
Also, according to Tymoshenko, the same support Ukraine she heard from key senators and congressmen. “And I am very glad that after all the meetings, including at a high level, which I spent in the US, we heard the official statement of the US representative in the UN that Russia will not be lifted sanctions, will not be released until even the Crimea. I’m also at all meetings in the United States raised the issue of strengthening sanctions against the aggressor country, as well as providing Ukraine defensive weapons”, – summed up Tymoshenko.
On a question of journalists about whether it was true that her meeting with trump was held near the toilet, Yulia Tymoshenko said that it was a provocation.
On specifying question of journalists about the details of the meeting with trump, Tymoshenko said: “We met as described in the official statements. Read our official statement. This meeting was absolutely full, normal, but short”.

Today in comments to journalists, the MP from the “Batkivschyna” Sergei Vlasenko, who, along with Tymoshenko traveled to Washington, categorically denied the information that Tymoshenko was waiting for trump after the prayer Breakfast, near the toilet, calling it “completely absurd.”
