Putin responded to trump’s words about Iran

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin does not agree with the statement of the President of the United States Donald trump that Iran is a “terrorist state number one.”

“We do not agree with such statement of a question,” – said Peskov.

According to him, Moscow and Tehran have good partnerships and cherish them. He noted that Moscow regrets the adoption of new US sanctions against Iran.

Peskov stressed that Moscow and Washington diverge on a number of international and regional policy issues.

“This, however, cannot and should not be an obstacle for establishing normal communications and pragmatic mutually beneficial relations between Russia and the USA”, – he added.

Recall trump in an interview to the American television called Iran a terrorist state number one. He also criticized his predecessor Barack Obama over the nuclear agreement with Tehran.
