The national Bank of Ukraine (NBU) considers suspicious the fact of detention of the Director of Department of payment systems Sergei Shatsk, which obvinyayut in receiving a bribe of 25 thousand dollars.
As the press service of the NBU, Shatsky arrest took place at his place of residence during the night and not at the scene of the crime. “The search and not the arrest of the bribe.” – noted in the NBU, stressing that the immediate fact of obtaining illegal benefit.
Associates Shatsky, according to the NBU, was not in the room during detention. In addition, the NBU reported that in the indictment the amount that’s bigger than the one that was identified during a search.
The NBU called another pozitivnoe circumstance: “a Person who said that the registration of the payment system paid a bribe, previously represented the company, which the NBU withdrew the license.”
At the same time, the national Bank reminded that he is ready to contribute fully to the investigation and hopes for an impartial investigation.

The GPU said that the suspect developed the criminal scheme aimed at soliciting and receiving through intermediaries from a certain businessman of a large sum for registration in the national Bank domestic payment system “Placeservice”. One of the accomplices of extortion was a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The representative of the NBU reported about suspicion under part 4 of article 368 UK of Ukraine, and his accomplices under part 5 article 27, part 4 St. 368 criminal code of Ukraine.
