The people of Lithuania endured a disappointing verdict of Russia and Belarus

The people of Lithuania believe that the most unfriendly States that pose the greatest threat are Russia and Belarus, and support the country’s membership in the EU.

These are the results of a survey conducted by the center for the study of public opinion and market Vilmorus for the Lithuanian foreign Ministry, reports Delfi.

According to the survey, two-thirds of residents (65%) support Lithuania’s membership in the EU expressed against 12% of respondents. The highest level of support among young people, students and people and respondents with higher education.

As the most unfriendly Lithuania the state, representing a threat, the majority of respondents called Russia (64%). Second place was taken by Belarus (20%). For the year negative rating increased by 7% (over a third).

The respondents consider that Lithuania needs to work actively with Latvia (67%), Poland (65%), Estonia (62%), more than half of respondents (59%) indicated and Germany.
