In Ukraine, the prices of electricity for business

The national Commission carrying out regulation in the sphere of energy and utilities (NKREKU), 1 February 2017, increased the retail tariffs for electricity sold to each class of consumers except for the population. The decision was taken at a meeting of the national Commission on 23 January.

The cost of electricity for Ukrainian enterprises will increase by 1 – 3%. For example, PJSC “Kyivenergo” is offered to consumers of the 1st voltage class to set tariffs at the level 147,71 kopecks/KWh for the year (excluding VAT) for the 2nd voltage class – 170,72 kopecks/KWh per year (without VAT).

Only two providers from the list NKREKU not yet obliged to raise tariffs. These utility companies are working in Mykolaiv and Lviv regions.

* Throughout the implementation of the licensed activities, except for the territory where the public authorities temporarily do not exercise their powers or exercise them not in full

As you know, the first class of electricity consumers are large industrial enterprises receiving electricity with the degree of voltage 27.5 kV.

We will remind, the electric power for the population will rise from 1 March 2017 – this will be the final stage of bringing the rate to the economically justified level.

Since the first of March the consumption up to 100 kWh will have to pay 90 cents each kilowatt will cost 168 cents. A separate tariff for those who consume more than 600 kWh, will not.

For example, a family who spends every month 200 kWh of electricity, currently pay for electricity 258 USD. In March, for the same amount of energy will have to pay 336 USD.
