UN Secretary-General antónio Guterres on Tuesday expressed hope for a quick lifting of the ban on entry into the United States citizens of some Muslim countries, the Agency reports the associated press.
According to the Secretary General, he hopes that this will happen as soon as possible. According to Guterres, introduced measures are unlikely to effectively protect the U.S. from terrorist threats.
Last weekend, the President of the United States Donald trump issued a decree to 120 days restricted entry into the United States refugees and 90 days suspended entry into the country of the seven Muslim States: Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen.
