Germany and France have dotted the “I” in the issue of lifting the sanctions against Russia

The new Minister of foreign Affairs of Germany, Sigmar Gabriel on Saturday, January 28, said that the lifting of sanctions against Russia remains dependent on progress in the Minsk talks on peace in Ukraine. About it reports TSN with reference to Reuters.

The French position is identical to what the foreign Minister of the country Jean-Marc Ayrault said at a joint press conference with Sigmar Gabriel.

“We in Germany and France have a clear position on sanctions,” Gabriel said.

“We consider it necessary to launch Minsk peace process… And it’s the only path that would allow Russia sanctions”, — he added.

In addition, Gabriel, and Ero agreed, that France and Germany should Express strong and United position on certain issues.

So, Gabriel underlined that their countries have to create bilateral working groups to address such issues as “the Ukrainian-Russian question.”

We will remind, earlier the Minister of foreign Affairs of Hungary péter Szijjártó said that Budapest wants to remove sanctions against Russia.
