Wizz Air will not raise the “daughter” in Ukraine

Since April of this year, the low-cost airline Wizz Air will launch flights from airport Lviv them. Danila Galitsky. This was stated by the corporate Director of Wizz Air Owen Jones, reports “Economic truth”.

“My team and I are proud that we are able to resume their activities [in Ukraine],” said Jones.

But Jones said that the airline has no plans to resume work Docherty compan “Wizz air Ukraine”.

“Two years ago we stopped the activities of “Wizz air Ukraine”and do not plan to restore activities of this company. … Will develop “Wizz air Hungary”, creating jobs for Ukrainians,” added Jones.

He noted that since August in Kiev added another plane. “We will form a landing base to 750 thousand a year,” said Jones.

“This will allow us to increase the number of staff by 36 additional seats, and overall added about 500 additional seats. We officially announce that restored our activities in April launched a new route Lviv – Wroclaw,” said Jones.

“Passengers can transfer to 9 other destinations from Wroclaw. Also, from Kiev, will fly new routes to Warsaw, Nuremberg and Copenhagen. Overall, Wizz Air offers 4 flights”, – he concluded.

Previously, Ukraine had a subsidiary of Wizz Air – “Wizz air Ukraine”, however, its activities were suspended for a number of reasons, mostly commercial.

In 2016, it became known about the resumption of the company’s flights to/from Kiev. So, in November, Wizz Air started to fly on two new routes from Kiev to Hanover (Germany) and Wroclaw (Poland). In addition, Wizz Air announced the launch of a new route from Kiev to Bratislava.

As reported, the volume of passenger traffic Ukrainian airlines in 2016, according to information of the Ministry of transport, increased by 31.2% compared to 2015 year to 8,274 million people.
