The candidate in presidents of Russia from the opposition party YABLOKO Grigory Yavlinsky in his election campaign said that Crimea is the territory of Ukraine, reports “Crimea. Realities”.
According to the election program, the candidate in presidents of Russia Grigory Yavlinsky, in particular, advocated the following: “to Stop any form of military intervention in the internal Affairs of Ukraine, as well as the instigation and war propaganda. At the highest state level to declare commitment to the territorial integrity of Ukraine and the observance by Russia of undertaken international obligations.”
However, the Russian politician said: “these commitments are in respect of the Crimea should be inseparably connected with the dignity and interests of all the inhabitants of the Peninsula, it requires a special plan, time, special status, international safeguards, international conference. However, this does not change the fact that Crimea is Ukrainian territory annexed contrary to international law and treaties signed and ratified by Russia”.
Recall, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine officially announced on 20 February 2014 beginning of the temporary occupation of Crimea and Sevastopol by Russia. 7 Oct 2015 the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed the law. International organizations have recognized the occupation and annexation of Crimea as illegal and have condemned Russia’s actions. Western countries have imposed a series of economic sanctions.
Earlier the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Nadezhda Savchenko said that Kiev is to return control of the regions of Donbass it is necessary to recognize the annexation of Crimea to Russia.
The people’s Deputy Dmitry Tymchuk believes that the statements of his colleagues in Parliament Hope Savchenko should understand Ukrainian security services and the Prosecutor’s office. “Prepare a request to the Prosecutor General and SBU with a request to give a legal assessment to the statements Savchenko on the subject of appeals to change the territorial integrity of Ukraine”, – said Tymchuk.
