The head of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Valeriya Gontareva will take part in the world economic forum in Davos (Switzerland). This was reported by press service of the NBU on his page in Facebook.
The Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeria Gontareva has left for Davos, where from 17 to 20 January 2017 will participate in the Annual meeting of the world economic forum as part of the official delegation of Ukraine.
The Forum with participation of the head of the NBU held a number of strategically important meetings with foreign partners, leading business circles, heads of international financial organizations, particularly the International monetary Fund (IMF) and the European Bank for reconstruction and development (EBRD).
The Cabinet expects that the size of the fourth tranche of the IMF loan under the program of expanded financing will amount to 1 billion U.S. dollars.
As reported, the final amount of the tranche will be fixed, most likely, after the meeting, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko with the head of the IMF Christine Lagarde during the world economic forum in Davos, which will be held 17-20 January.
Earlier, the head of national Bank Valeria Gontareva said that the successful nationalization of “PrivatBank” and the adoption of the budget for 2017 is expected of Ukraine the fourth tranche of the International monetary Fund (IMF) under eff EFF in January 2017.
