Women’s team USA hockey defeated the team Canada in the final of the youth world championship (players up to 18 years), which took place in the Czech Republic. Saturday’s match ended with the victory of Americans with the score 3:1 (0:0, 1:0, 2:1).
Team USA for the third year in a row plays in the final, the canadian team and the sixth time in its history won gold at the youth world Championships. On account of team Canada winning four finals.
Earlier on Saturday the Russian team for the second time in history won bronze of the youth world championship, defeating the Swedes 2:0.
