The people’s Deputy Nadezhda Savchenko denies any connection with the Ukrainian politician Viktor Medvedchuk and States that dont even know him. She told about it on air of TV channel NewsOne.
The MP also did not rule out the possibility that may be explored since they both involved the release of prisoners.
“I don’t know the man (Viktor Medvedchuk – Ed.). Me, as ordinary Ukrainians, always a little interested in politics. I’m just the man don’t know his story… We are strangers. Do not rule out that we once get acquainted, since we’re working on the release of prisoners, but at the moment we’re strangers. I don’t understand why we are trying to communicate,” – said Savchenko.
Earlier the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko explained that Viktor Medvedchuk in the Tripartite contact group has only one function: the release of the hostages, who are in Russia in the first place, and in the occupied territories.
In turn Nadezhda Savchenko said that it plans soon to publish the lists of prisoners of war and missing in the Donbass.
