Pilot “Force India” is recognized as the best racer in Latin America

At a special ceremony FIA American Awards, held in Mexico city on the circuit behalf of the brothers Rodriguez on Sunday evening, the pilot Sergio Perez was recognized as the best racer, representing the countries of Latin America.

Mexican is awarded for successful performance in last season’s Formula 1, because it 16 times finished in the top ten twice on the podium and took 7 th place in personal offset of the world championship. Largely thanks to his efforts, Force India was able to rise to 4th place in the constructors ‘ championship for the team from Silverstone is an unprecedented achievement.

“I am proud that the FIA American Awards ceremony takes place in Mexico, said Perez. The ceremony was hosted by the FIA President Jean Todt, who also presented the award to the mayor of Mexico city, Miguel Ahelo Mancera for the “initiatives for development of urban motoring”.
